A male driver died after crashing an SUV into three utility poles in the Pilsen neighborhood early Tuesday, police said.
Police say the driver lost control of the Chevrolet Blazer, which went over a curb and crashed into the cluster of poles in the 2400 block of South Damen Avenue about 4:25 a.m.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said.
His identity and age were not released Tuesday morning, pending notification of his family.
