Police investigate body found in Lincoln Park alley

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A northwest suburban man was found dead early Sunday in an alley in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the North Side.
Police responded to the alley in the 400 block of West Fullerton Parkway about 5:15 a.m. Sunday, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said. The 21-year-old was found unresponsive with head trauma.
Timothy Gallagher, of the 1000 block of Hawthorne Drive in Crystal Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy performed Monday was inconclusive pending the results of a police investigation, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.
