Foss Swim School evacuated due to strong chlorine smell

Four people were taken to the hospital, largely as a precaution, after what appeared to be a small chlorine spill at the Foss Swim School in Chanhassen.

Officials say three of the four who were hospitalized were children, and there were 30 people inside the school when the first reports of a strong chlorine smell were made.

After a few people reported feeling sick, the swim school was evacuated at about 2:45 p.m.

Firefighters have since cleared the scene.
