EAST BETHEL, Minn. (KMSP) -
A woman is dead after two vehicles collided into each other Saturday morning in East Bethel.
The accident happened at the intersection of Breezy Point Drive NE and Viking Blvd. NE just before 9 a.m.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Department said a 24-year-old woman, from Blaine, died at the scene after her car rolled over into the ditch.
The occupants of the other vehicle, a 16-year-old boy – who was the driver – and 46-year-old man, were transported to Mercy Hospital. Both sustained injuries, but were conscious.
Police said the woman's car was spinning out of control when it crashed into the other vehicle, which was stopped.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
