AT&T has turned on its 4G LTE network in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, which should deliver faster mobile internet speeds to customers.
AT&T says its 4G network has speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G, allowing for better experiences with downloads, uploads, streaming and gaming.
"We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in the Twin Cities delivers what customers want from their mobile experience -- more data, at faster speeds, on the best devices," said Hardmon Williams, AT&T vice president and general manager for Minnesota and the Northern Plains.
LTE uses spectrum more efficiently than other technologies, creating more space to carry data traffic and services and to deliver a better network experience.
