KMSP has named Iris Perez as a general assignment reporter for "FOX @ 9." and "FOX @10," announced Bill Dallman, the station's Vice President and News Director. Her first day on-air will be Monday, November 26th.
In making the announcement, Dallman stated, "Iris is an award-winning reporter, with a dynamic personality and compelling style. Her no-nonsense reporting and ability to seek out stories that are of concern to viewers made her the ideal candidate for this position."
Most recently, Perez served as host of "Vital Signs" on DPTV-TV in Detroit, MI. Prior to that, she was a reporter/writer for the FOX owned-and-operated Detroit station, WJBK-TV FOX 2. Earlier in her career, Perez was a general assignment reporter and host at WJRT-TV in Flint, MI. Perez also served as a general assignment reporter for WMBD/WYZZ-TV in Peoria, IL. She began her career as an intern for WJBK-TV.

Perez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Michigan.
