In July, Vikings star Adrian Peterson was charged with resisting arrest after an incident in a Houston nightclub -- but now, it appears that the case will be dropped.
On Tuesday, Peterson testified in front of a grand jury and they found no reason to let the case go forward. The charges are expected to be formally dropped on Wednesday.
The Vikings running back was accused of shoving an off-duty police officer, but Peterson has denied those claims from the beginning.
Derek Hollingsworth, Peterson's lawyer, said his client is relieved the incident is resolved and the grand jury agreed with him.
