Brooklyn Park family held at gunpoint in late night robbery

Police in Brooklyn Park, Minn. have arrested one person in connection with a home invasion robbery late Monday night.

Three adults and two children between the ages of 10 and 12 were inside their home on the 6000 block of 83rd Parkway around 10 p.m. when two men walked up to the door.

One of the adults inside the house went to open the door when the two suspects forced their way inside. Police said one of the men had a gun.

One of the adults was able to run out of the house and call 911 as the suspects fled. Police located and arrested one man, but the other suspect has not been taken into custody.

Some of the victims said they were assaulted, but no one went to the hospital.
