St. Jude Medical cuts 100 jobs in Minnesota in 500-layoff reorganization

St. Jude Medical is cutting another 500 jobs as part of its reorganization plan, with 100 of those job losses in Minnesota.

The medical device manufacturer, based in Little Canada, Minn. announced 300 layoffs in August, including 80 in Minnesota.

Minnesota Public Radio News reports St. Jude is reorganizing its product divisions and will centralize marketing, information technology and human resources.
