Andre Hollins passes to Rodney Williams during the Gophers’ exhibition win over Minnesota State-Mankato
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
The Gophers basketball team opened 2012 action Thursday night at Williams Arena, hosting Minnesota State-Mankato in an exhibition game.
Minnesota won easily, 81-56.
Mo Walker scored eight points in 11 minutes in his first game for the Gophers in nearly two years. Trevor Mbakwe scored four points and added three rebounds in his first game since suffering a season-ending knee injury last Nov. 27.
Joe Coleman made eight of his ten shots, leading the Gophers with 21 points.
