Augsburg student killed in downtown Minneapolis hit-and-run

A 20-year-old Augsburg College student was killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday in Minneapolis. Aa memorial service has been planned for Monday morning at the West Bank campus.

Police say Austin Conley was crossing 3rd Street at 1st Avenue around bar close early Saturday morning when a car hit him and took off. He died Sunday at the hospital.

Minneapolis police have since located the suspect and vehicle involved in the accident.

Conley will be remembered at a chapel service at 10:20 a.m. Monday at Augsburg's Hoversten Chapel.
