GOP VP nominee Paul Ryan
ATLANTA -
Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was in Cobb County for a fundraiser on Wednesday.
Parts of Interstate 75 and 85 were shut down as Ryan made his way north to the Cobb County Energy Cenre.
SkyFOX 5 was over Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport when the Wisconsin congressman left his private jet to head to the event.
Atlanta has been no stranger for Romney and President Obama when it comes to raising funds for their campaigns.
Republican challenger Mitt Romney was in Atlanta a month ago, when he held a $1,000 a plate fund raiser at the downtown Marriott Marquis hotel.
President Obama has come to town a couple of times this year looking for cash, including a visit to the Tyler Perry Studios. Thousands shelled out between $250 and $10,000 to hear the president speak.
With most analysts predicting Georgia will go Romney's way in the election, the campaigns don't spend much time stumping for our votes, but they will come here to raise lots of campaign cash.
Attending Ryan's event wasn't cheap. Those who paid $500 can hear Ryan speak, while $10,000 got you a photo session. The fundraiser was Ryan's only appearance in Atlanta.
