MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
A chain-reaction crash involving five cars killed one elderly woman in St. Louis Park Saturday afternoon, police said.
According to officials, the Buick the woman was riding in rear-ended another vehicle near the intersection of Highway 7 and Blake Road, setting off the chain-reaction.
The driver of the Buick had some kind of aliment before hitting the first car, police said, but would not elaborate further.
The deceased woman was sitting in the back seat of the car and was wearing a seat belt, officials said. Police are not releasing her identity at this time.
No one involved in the crash was transported to the hospital for injuries.
