ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

St. Paul police are looking for another shooting suspect after shots were fired near a vigil for a murdered woman. The shooting happened Monday night as friends and family gathered in remembrance of a 20-year-old mother.

Dozens of friends and family gathered with lit candles in the alley where Naressa Turner was gunned down on Sunday. Witnesses say she was hanging out with friends on the 900 block of Reaney Avenue when she was shot in a parked SUV by a man wearing a mask.

"Make this be the last death," said Odessa turner, Naressa's mother. "Let's get together for our kids. Let's save them from these streets."

Naressa Turner's family says rumors on her Facebook pages started months ago, claiming she had witnessed a murder in St. Paul earlier this year. She denied witnessing anything, but took the threats seriously and moved herself and her 3-year-old daughter to Atlanta just three months ago.

Turner just came back to St. Paul for what was supposed to be a short visit. Police are investigating a possible motive as they search for her shooter.

Now, police are looking for the suspect in last night's shooting, just blocks away from the vigil. Police say it's too early to tell if there's a connection.
