The Timberwolves finished their third game in four nights with a come from behind 82-75 win over the Chicago Bulls Saturday night at Target Center.
The Wolves, who played without Kevin Love and Andrei Kirilenko due to injury, but Nikola Pekovic and Alexi Shved picked up the slack as the team outscored the Bulls 24-15 in the fourth quarter.
Minnesota trailed 60-58 heading into the fourth quarter but then went on an 11-0 run led by Shved to pull away. Shved made two 3-pointers and scored 12 points in the fourth quarter of the Wolves first appearance in Target Center. Pekovic was a monster once again inside as he scored a game high 16 points and pulled down 17 rebounds.
Love was a late scratch from the lineup with a left elbow injury while Kirilenko continues to work through a sore left hamstring. The Bulls played without starters Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton.
