Chicago's Most Wanted: Glenn Rodgers, and his murderer

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The suspected bank robber in this case was featured on a previous Chicago's Most Wanted.

Glenn Rodgers was arrested and then released on bond. Then he wound up dead.

Rodgers was profiled on Chicago's Most Wanted this summer after robbing a TCF Bank Branch in Stickney on June 11. In late July, FBI agents say he robbed another TCF Bank in Glendale Heights.

He was arrested a short time later and, while he was out on bond awaiting trial, he was found shot to death in a home in Joliet. Joliet Police are investigating the murder, but they have asked for the FBI's assistance.

Rodgers, a 43-year-old, white male, worked and lived in Cicero. Up until the time of the robberies, was living what appeared to be a normal life.

At this point, the FBI in unsure of whoever killed Rodgers is connected to the bank robberies but it's looking into the possibility. It hopes that by profiling the unusual circumstances surrounding this case, someone with information about the bank robberies or the murder will come forward and provide information that will help solve these crimes.

The Will County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to a $5,000 for information that leads to the capture and conviction of the killer or killers. Anyone with information about either case is asked to call the FBI or Joliet Police.
