"Dating" your significant other is all about experiencing quality time together and having fun! Try something new! Think back to when you FIRST started dating and the fun you used to have. Or maybe you missed out on the romantic dating stage and you want to recreate it now that you're more settled in your relationship.
Adrienne C. Laursen, LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of The Engagement Coach, gives five awesome Fall date ideas for couples in the Twin Cities area.
1. Take a Day Trip Somewhere New
Scope out a nearby little town, that neither of you have been to before {do research before you go}
Visit the antique stores, pack a lunch and splurge on dessert at a cute mom & pop restaurant
2. Exercise Together
Go for a walk or run, play a game of H-O-R-S-E {keep it fun or go competitive}
Go to a local park and swing or play on the playground
The best part is it's FREE!
3. Local Vineyard, Pumpkin Patch or Apple Picking
Go to a local MN or WI vineyard, pack a picnic & splurge on a bottle of wine after a fun tasting
Pick a pumpkin together and carve it at home while talking about your Halloween traditions
Go Apple picking and bake a fun dessert together
4. Go To The Farmer's Market & Cook a Fresh Meal Together
Pick a recipe before you go and buy local fresh ingredients for your meal
Go home and cook together
Open thru October until 1:00pm, http://www.mplsfarmersmarket.com/FreshNews/
5. Go On A Picnic & Reconnect
Bring a list of fun questions you want to talk about
Discuss what's going well in your relationship {most of us only discuss our relationships when things aren't going well}
Enjoy just being in the moment with your significant other!
