Minnesota-raised soldier missing in South Carolina

Posted: Updated:

A solider raised near North Branch, Minn. has been missing since Saturday, last seen by his wife at their South Carolina home.

Sgt. Robert Larson, 26, was reported missing on Oct. 7. He was last seen by his wife around 7 p.m. the night before. He was last seen driving his 2009 Black Jeep Wrangler four-door with South Carolina Purple Heart license plates with tag PH5752.

Pamela Larson says her husband may have taken a drive to blow off some steam after she was nagging him to carry some boxes into the house. She worries he may have tried to go off-roading in his Jeep at night.

Larson has completed several tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and is a Purple Heart recipient living with a traumatic brain injury.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Calhoun County (S.C.) sheriff's office at 803-874-2741.
