Plymouth garage fire sends smoke over Interstate 394, 494 - KMSP-TV

Fire damaged an attached garage in Plymouth, Minn. early Wednesday morning, sending smoke over Interstates 394 and 494.

The fire started around 4:30 a.m. at a home on the 14000 block of Carlson Parkway. The fire was knocked down and the smoke was cleared by 6:30 a.m.

Fire damaged the garage and a converted room above the garage, but flames did not spread to the home. The family was able to escape safely.

It's not clear what caused the fire.
