MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
The Minnesota Lynx cleared another hurdle in their road to repeat as WNBA champions, closing out the Los Angeles Sparks with an 80-79 win. The ladies jumped on a plan and landed in Minneapolis around midnight to be greeted by a crowd of diehard fans.
The ladies strolled in with their Western Conference champion hats, taking pictures and video of the hoopla with their phones.
Maya Moore said the Lynx will enjoy these next couple of days to celebrate, but once it's determined who the Lynx will play, its back to business. Moore says it's the fans who have made this season so special.
Game 1 the WNBA Finals is at the Target Center next Sunday night.
