1/2 cup dried cherries, cranberries, apples or raisins
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon almond or maple extract
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
1 cup water
Mix all ingredients together. Spoon into 8″ x 8″ pan or small casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Serve this warm with vanilla yogurt, extra milk and brown sugar on top if you'd like. The leftovers can be refrigerated and re-heated in the microwave with a little extra water or milk.
