The Vikings rolled into Mall of America field Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 record, fresh off impressive victories over San Francisco and Detroit. They faced a Tennessee team without starting quarterback Jake Locker and didn't give the Titans an opportunity to play the upset card as they rolled to a 30-7 win.
Percy Harvin continued his big start to the season as he caught 8 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns including the first score of the game, a four yard run to put the Vikings up in the first quarter.
The defense was dominating. Holding the Titans to 95 yards of total offense through three quarters. The Titans didn't score their touchdown until the game was in hand in the fourth quarter.
Christian Ponder completed 25-35 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns. Adrian Peterson ran 17 times for 88 yards in the win.
Rookie kicker Blair Walsh was perfect on the afternoon connecting on three of three field goals.
The Vikings head to Washington next Sunday to face the Redskins.
