Witnesses are saying a dead deadly shooting at a club in Midtown was over a woman.
Investigators say a man shot another after leaving the Quad Club near Spring and 3rd streets early Saturday morning.
According to the club owner, the 24-year-old victim left the nightclub minutes before and was shot in the back. He was left in the parking lot to die.
Morie Brooks, 24, of Peachtree City, was identified as that man. He spent his last moments of life cradled in his brother's arms.
Surveillance cameras show that the fight started in the club and spilled out into the street as both of the groups left the club.
Witnesses believe the gunman grabbed the weapon from his car and the drove to the lot to confront Brooks.
Club owner Rick Day says the suspect caught security's eye earlier in the night. He was patted down by bouncers who found $4,000 in his pocket. He even reportedly told security that he had a gun in his car when they raised concerns over his safety if he flashed that amount of money inside the club.
Day released the low-quality images of the fight and shooting to help bring an arrest in the case.
Atlanta police continue to investigate the incident.
