MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Andrew Engeldinger's co-workers at Accent Signage knew him as a quiet loner.  The day Engeldinger came into work with a gun, he didn't say much either.

According to reports released by the Minneapolis Police Department, when Engeldinger found out he was being fired, he said, "Oh, really?" and pulled a gun from his waistband to shoot the two bosses who were in the meeting with him.

Next, Accent Signage owner Reuven Rahamim was shot twice in the head at close range as he held wounded Operations Manager John Souter.

Souter told police he and Rami Cooks had "began to tussle with" Engledinger before Engeldinger shot Cooks several times. Both Cooks and Rahamim died from their wounds.

One witness told police Engeldinger "moved methodically" during the attack. The gunman chose his victims, killing five people and wounding three others before turning the gun on himself.

Police reports show Engeldinger was found dead in the basement of Accent Signage, sitting in a chair. His handgun was on the floor beside him, and he was out of bullets.

When police searched Engeldinger's home in south Minneapolis, they found a second 9-mm Glock handgun and several prescription drugs, including anti-depressants, pain medications and sleeping pills.

Police reports also detail a history of drug rehabilitation in Engeldinger's teen years, but he had no recent run-ins with the law. His parents said they tried to get him help for mental illness, but he cut off contact with them instead.
