
A 4-year-old boy who was hit by a car in south Minneapolis on Sunday has died.
Minneapolis police were called to the intersection of E. 26th Street and 11th Avenue S. around 7 p.m. Sunday and found a woman performing CPR on the child.
Officers learned the woman was driving in the area when the boy ran into the middle of the street. The driver was unable to avoid hitting the boy.
The boy was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center in critical condition, but died late Monday night.
