Chipper Jones Tribute Night planned at Turner Field

Fans planning to attend Friday's send off to Chipper Jones may want to plan early.
Large crowds are expected for Chipper Jones Tribute Night at Turner Field. Jones is retiring after 19 seasons with the Braves.
A special ceremony recognizing Chipper will be held prior to the game against the New York Mets. Former Braves manager Bobby Cox as well as former players Dale Murphy and Hank Aaron are expected to be in attendance, according to the team's website. The tribute begins at 7 p.m.
The first 45,000 fans at the stadium will receive a commemorative print highlighting Chipper Jones' final season.
Parking lots will open at 3 p.m. and Turner Field gates will open at 5 p.m.
