Thousands of Chicago teachers were not in the classroom on Monday after union negotiations failed. Hamline University's employment and labor law professor, David Larson, was there this past weekend, and he joined FOX 9 News to discuss the ongoing strike.
Many in Minnesota have wondered whether a similar scenario could play out closer to home -- and how both sides can come to a point where contract negotiations trump the education of thousands of students.
