CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
One more thing, about the problem with a Bears winning season.
Get ready, football widows. Looks like things might get much worse in the coming months. Bears fans haven't felt this good after a season opener in a long time.
As I stayed in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon watching a team that didn't look like any Bears team I've seen lately, I realized I may not get much done around the house on Sundays for the rest of the year.
Football widows be warned: men are no longer available for Sunday chores, errands, or family events until next spring.
And that goes for a few Monday, Thursday and Sunday nights as well.
It looks like this isn't going to be one of those years where by Thanksgiving we no longer care enough about the Bears to watch every game.
And about those games----don't just warn your loved ones to leave you alone for three hours. Judging by yesterday's game that didn't end until 3:25 p.m., it'll be more like 3 1/2 hours.
Think there were enough plays reviewed by the officials?
Remember during the Bulls championship run in the 90's before anyone planned a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, or graduation party, they had to check the NBA playoff schedule first? Let's hope we start having that problem with Bears conflicts.
