9/11: The Great Boat Lift

Vinny Ardolino is the captain of a 127-foot passenger boat. He has worked on the water for over 40 years, but it was a day 11 years ago that he will never forget.

He saw the burning towers on TV and told his wife he had to go help.

Ardolino and his crew and hundreds of other boats helped evacuate Lower Manhattan that day in what became known as the Great Boat Lift.
