The worst kept secret in NFLcircles was revealed Sunday morning when the Vikings announced running backAdrian Peterson would be active and would start for the teams home openeragainst Jacksonville.Peterson, who tore two ligaments in his left knee had targeted a week one returnsince injuring it December 30th against Washington.
The big question now will be his workload as Toby Gerhart saw all the firstteam reps during pre-season games.
