Security expert: iOS users should safeguard information

Over 100 million people across the globe use iPhones, and over 55 million use an iPad -- and that's making Apple products a juicy target for hackers, but security expert Jake Dewoskin, of KDV consulting, says consumers can defend themselves by safeguarding their information.

On Tuesday, a hacking group known as AntiSec announced they had recovered 12 million Apple device IDs -- including President Barack Obama's iPad -- that they claimed came from an FBI agent's laptop. The FBI has denied the claim, but it is raising security concerns.

In the past, viruses were spread on your computer by clicking on a link. That was the old school way of hacking. Now, the hackers are going after personal information that may be stored on a device.
