ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -
Total attendance for the 2012 Minnesota State Fair added up to 1,788,512 people, making it the second-best-attended fair in history – just 1,985 people shy of the 2009 record.
This year's attendance surpasses the 2011 attendance of 1,769,872 by 18,640 guests.
Labor Day attendance for 2012 was 152,760, with Saturday, Sept. 1 the most-attended day, with 226,863 fairgoers.
