Missing Tempe woman found dead in Pinal County - KMSP-TV

Authorities say a missing Tempe woman has been found dead in her car in Pinal County.

Tempe police say it appears 41-year-old Lisa McDonald died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Her body was found Tuesday, but detectives say no other information is being immediately released.

McDonald's family reported her missing Monday, saying they were concerned for her safety.

They say she often took lengthy drives out of the Phoenix metropolitan area with no specific destination.
