Odor leads to corpse in Albert Lea - KMSP-TV

Police in western Albert Lea say a body has been found in a wooded area.

An Albert Lea Tribune report says a neighbor smelled an odor and discovered the corpse. The body was reported to police Saturday afternoon.

The cause of death isn't immediately known. The body has been taken to the Dakota County medical examiner's office.

No information has been released about the person's identity.
