LAKE ELMO, Minn. (KMSP) -
An alleged Lake Elmo arson is under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff's department and Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office.
The homeowner on the 5300 block of Lake Elmo Avenue believes the fire was intentionally set, as he claims he heard several loud crashes before a vehicle sped away as he was calling 911 at 4:14 a.m. Wednesday. He distinguished the fire on his own.
There was minor damage to the home due to the fire. The home was occupied during the fire, no injuries were reported.
