MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
Five cars of a Union Pacific Train slid off the tracks in St. Paul Saturday afternoon.
St. Paul Police said the cars derailed on a Northern Santa Fe track under the Seventh Street Bridge.
The 114-care train was traveling from Chicago to St. Paul, a Union Pacific spokesman said.
Union Pacific confirmed the five cars were empty and presented no risk to the public.
No one was injured in the accident which is under investigation.
Union Pacific workers were working into the night Saturday to fix the cars and to repair any damage to the tracks.
