ATLANTA -

The head of the office in the middle of controversy over minority businesses at airport has been transferred out of the state department of transportation.

Michael Cooper was the director of the state DOT's Equal Opportunity Office. He signed off on minority certification for four politically-connected companies gobbling up food concession contracts at the airport.

Senior FOX 5 I-Team reporter Dale Russell also uncovered an internal email with what some call a stunning admission from the DOT director.
