3 police officers assaulted in Queens

The NYPD is searching for the suspect who assaulted three officers in Queens early Friday morning. 

Authorities say the two officers were attempting to arrest 23-year-old Jeffrey Contreras around 1:35 a.m. near the 105th Precinct in Queens Village when he got into a 2011 Toyota Rav 4 and struck the three officers.

The three officers were taken to North Shore Manhasset Hospital. Two of the officers were treated and released while the other remains in the hospital and is listed in stable condition.  

Contreras, of Jamaica, Queens, is listed as being 5'10", 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. 

Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
