SEDAN, Minn. (KMSP) -
Members of the Sedan Fire Department, made famous by a YouTube video of two firefighters putting out a roadside truck fire while wearing dresses, will be slipping into their gowns again Friday night for a hometown drag show.
The firefighters were participating in a St. Patrick's Day parade in the town of Padua earlier this year when the engine of a truck caught fire nearby. The Sedan firefighters, still in their dresses, proudly rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.
The whole Sedan firefighting crew has been cordially invited to don their drag again for the Miss Sedan Daze pageant on Friday, Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. The party continues on Saturday with a parade, firefighter water fight, bingo, music, tug-o-war and a street dance.
