When the Southdale Center fully reopens up again after a total renovation and facelift in the fall of 2013, there will be 14 new businesses inside the world's first indoor shopping center.

- Journey's
- Lucky
- Madewell
- Maurce's
- Soma Intimates
- Sephora
- Wet Seal
- White House/Black Market
- Things Remembered
- Game by James
The White House/Black Market store has already opened, and Soma is expected to open on Aug. 19.
New restaurants include:
- Qdoba Mexican Grill will open in the dining pavilion in December.
- Rojo Mexican Grill -- a contemporary restaurant and bar with over 75 types of tequila -- will open in mid-2013
- Subway Café will open in November, and will offer baked goods, coffee and tea as well as sandwiches.
