DETROIT (WJBK) -

"She was screaming and hollering at the top of her lungs saying that they killed her baby," said Felicia Stackhouse.

Stackhouse said she's the one that helped rescue a woman and her baby Sunday morning when six men broke into a nearby home in a home invasion.

"It was like six men came in.  Four had masks, two didn't have [a] mask.  They shot him in the face," Stackhouse explained.  "Asked her where was the money, where [were] the drugs.  She told them that [there was] nothing there."

"They took the ring that she had on her finger.  That's all they got."

Neighbors say the 29-year-old man in the house was shot in the face and died on the scene.  The woman grabbed the couple's six-month-old son and made a run for it.  One of the men pointed a gun at her and shot her in the back.

"She had her six-month-old baby with her in her hands when she ran out," Stackhouse said.

The woman went to the hospital, but neighbors say she came back the same day and moved everything out in a U-Haul truck.
