Police investigating afternoon shooting in St. Paul

St. Paul Police are investigating an afternoon shooting on the city's Eastside.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Details remain fuzzy, but police did say an adult male was shot by someone known to him.

The victim is currently at Regions Hospital in critical condition.

The 26-year-old suspect, a Steve Lewis, is currently being held in connection with the crime.

The relationship the two had is unknown at this time.
