M.A. checks out the first ball field for wheelchair softball

Posted: Updated:

It started some 35 years ago as a dream that Courage Center athletes had: their own home ball field for competitive wheelchair softball. Thanks to the Minnesota Twins, a Pepsi "Refresh" grant of $200,000 and 2 million online votes, the dream is now a reality. M.A. Rosko takes us to the opening of the Courage Center's Todd Anderson field in Brooklyn Park. The official ribbon cutting is Thursday at 5:30pm. 7600 – 107th Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.
