Rookie Childs suffers season ending knee injury during scrimmage - KMSP-TV

Vikings rookie receiver Greg Childs suffered torn patellar tendons in both knees on Saturday night during team's scrimmage at Blakeslee Stadium in Mankato. Childs was injured while making a play for a pass thrown by McLeor Bethel-Thompson.

Childs is expected to have surgery in the coming days and will miss the entire season.
