The families of two victims, killed in the late 1970's by the Oakland County child killer, are suing Oakland County officials for allegedly interfering with the investigation.

The two families are suing for millions of dollars, claiming that Oakland County prosecutor Jessica Cooper and Sheriff Mike Bouchard somehow hindered with the investigation. Cooper and Bouchard are not commenting on the lawsuit at this time.
Jessica Cooper announced in court today that there is an active grand jury investigation into the Oakland County child killer cases, which left four children murdered between 1976 and 1977.
