$50K reward offered to help find missing IA cousins

EVANSDALE, Iowa -

Investigators are hoping a $50,000 reward will help them find two cousins who went missing in Iowa while on a bike ride.

Police recently found surveillance video that they believe shows 8-year-old Elizabeth Collins and 10-year-old Lyric Cook-Morrissey on the day they disappeared. Investigators say the footage fits the timeline when the girls left their grandmother's house.

The girls' bikes were found on a trail near a lake about four hours after they were reported missing on July 13.

Officials believe the girls are still alive, and authorities officially reclassified the case as an abduction on Friday.

Anyone with information on the girls' whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
