Vikings agree to terms with #1 pick Kalil

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) -

The Minnesota Vikings signed tackle Matt Kalil Thursday, their top draft pick – fourth overall -- and the final player from their 2012 draft class to reach a contract agreement.

Terms weren't disclosed along with the announcement, which came as players move into MSU, Mankato's Gage Hall dorms the day before training camp starts in Mankato.

Kalil, an offensive tackle from USC, was the first offensive lineman selected in the entire draft. He is the second earliest drafted offensive lineman in Vikings history. The first is Hall of Famer and fellow Trojan tackle Ron Yary, who went No. 1 overall to the Vikes in 1968.
