LAKE MINNETONKA, Minn. (KMSP) -
The Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is set to begin his second season in the National Football League. Even though camp doesn't start until Thursday, the sophomore signal-caller has been working all off-season to prepare for this year.
Not only has Ponder been working with his coaches, but he has also been building his bonds with his teammates. Ponder has spent nearly the entire summer here in Minnesota, showing his fellow Vikings he's got their back.
FOX 9 Sports Director Jim Rich tagged along with Christian while he spent some time out on the water, bass fishing on Lake Minnetonka with his center John Sullivan -- and even though they are friends and teammates, that doesn't mean there isn't competition between the two.
