A threat is called in to Comerica Park, making it the third threat in Detroit in less than a week.
Someone called in a threat during Tuesday night's Tiger's game against the Angels. The park was packed, but officials did not force an evacuation. Rather, investigators searched the park and the game went on without fans ever knowing there was an issue.
Comerica Park officials released a statement saying they worked closely with law enforcement in determining not to evacuate the park and that all proper protocol was followed.
On Monday, someone called in a threat to the Ambassador bridge. Last Thursday, a similar threat was called into the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
Police tell us they do not believe the three threats are related. Investigators do believe arrests will be made in the future.
