Minneapolis Police investigating city's latest homicide Saturday

Officers found a woman's body inside a duplex on the 1700 block of Glenwood Avenue Saturday.

Minneapolis police were responding to a call of shots fired just before 5:00 p.m. when officers discovered the woman's body, Sgt. Steve McCarty said. Police say the woman had apparently been shot inside the building.

McCarty said the department is investigating the incident and are following leads.

The woman's identity has not been released. Police are also not releasing any other details as to what may have led up to the woman's death.
